These fall into two broad types:
- Requested by clients on a specific topic for a designated
audience: Recent topics addressed for our banking clients
include trends and issues in international banking, the
future shape of retail distribution and the outlook for
global investment banking
- A topical issue identified by DIBC for an open audience:
For example in February 2000, we hosted a seminar on bank
mergers featuring Sir Brian Pitman, the Chairman of Lloyds
TSB
- DIBC has regularly presented to the UBS global
financial institutions conference in N.Y. as well as other
industry forums
- For a Scandinavian bank, DIBC has organized and
managed a series of annual seminars on selected issues for
the top management team in collaboration with Cass Business
School.
- Books: Steven I. Davis has written nine books
on the management of financial institutions, all published
by Macmillan/Palgrave
